The Roth Thermotank Quadroline plastic heat storage tank is permanently rustproof. Hot water is only heated when required by the user, thus ensuring efficient operation of the entire system. With the Thermotank Quadroline, Roth offers two different storage tank and system concepts for hygienic DHW heating. On the one hand, there is the option of using a storage tank with an integrated heat exchanger made of corrugated stainless steel pipe for hygienic heating of drinking water using the continuous flow principle. Due to the special shape of the corrugated stainless steel tube, any deposits on the heat exchanger surface, for example limescale, are always removed.
This means that the high effectiveness of the heat exchanger is maintained throughout the entire service life of the hot water tank. Alternatively, the Roth Thermotank Quadroline can be combined with the Roth fresh water station.
The hot water is heated simultaneously with demand - quickly, safely, cleanly. This means that fresh, hot and hygienically perfect drinking water is always available. The energy for heating drinking water can be supplied by various systems: solar systems as well as solid fuel boilers, conventional oil/gas boilers, heat pumps or other systems.
Roth developed a temperature stratification device designed for optimum flow behavior, which is flowed to from the upper and/or lower storage area, depending on the storage variant.
It includes a segmented outer filling tube with inlets and outlets for the inflow and outflow of the storage medium. Inside the filling pipe is another pipe, but much smaller in diameter, which is hydraulically operated in the opposite direction to the filling pipe, depending on its use and function.
The individually matched, segmented charging and discharging devices enable both direct connection to the heat generators and the heat distribution systems and also produce optimum temperature stratification within the plastic storage tank.
Depending on the application and storage requirements, a system concept is created with the Roth Thermotank Quadroline. Different areas of application can thus be hydraulically coordinated and allocated.
The Roth Thermotank Quadroline can be integrated into the domestic heating and drinking water system in a wide variety of configurations, either individually or in a battery configuration. The individual configuration of the Roth Thermotank Quadroline allows them to be used as buffer, separating or solar storage tanks as well as hygienic drinking water heaters in continuous flow mode (also in combination with solar), as drinking water combination storage tanks, drinking water separating storage tanks and as combination storage tanks for more complex system concepts.
The storage system can be expanded at any time and thus allows the integration of additional components that result from a later conversion or retrofit in the building technology - for example, through the subsequent installation of a solar or heat pump system.
Variations
The Multibox can be removed for transport and assembly. It is located in the lower section of the unit. This allows the housing to be transported horizontally to the installation site. The connections for heating, domestic hot water and electrics are located on the roof of the housing. The brine connections can be connected either on the left or on the right. The service access is located exclusively at the front. The installation location of the Roth ThermoTerra can thus be flexibly selected; installation in the corner or directly on the wall is possible.
