Development - Manufacturing - System
In 1971, Roth invented the double-walled plastic tank with steel outer shell. Since then, the Roth steel-PE tank has proven itself 100,000 times over. Derived from the so-called "household tank", double-walled solutions in steel/plastic and in plastic/plastic design for central oil heating have now established themselves on the market. Single-walled plastic tanks, which require secondary protection to be provided on site, are increasingly being replaced. As the European market leader, Roth offers a heating oil tank program for all practical applications.
Modernisation of heating system + thermal insulation of the building = save up to 70 % energy costs
Is oil heating an outdated system? Quite the opposite. The new oil condensing heating systems in combination with solar reduce oil consumption by up to 40% (according to IWO).

Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik certifies that the Roth DWT plus 3 double-wall tank (750 and 1000 l) and Roth KWT plastic tank is suitable without restriction for alternative fuels in accordance with DIN EN 15940 and DIN/TS 51603-8: so-called "green fuels" that are produced using renewable energies and produce significantly fewer harmful emissions in balance sheet terms than conventional fossil fuels. These include hydrogenated vegetable oils (HVO), hydrogenated used oils (HUCO) and "Fischer-Tropsch synthesis" products. These fuels not only help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but offer other significant benefits: For example, higher energy efficiency, better environmental performance, and greater independence from fossil fuels.
According to the German government's current climate protection program, oil-fired heating systems may continue to be installed in combination with renewable energies from 2026. Modern oil condensing technology is highly efficient and uses less heating oil than old systems. In addition, it can make a significant contribution to CO2 savings when used with biofuel heating oils. The addition of renewable heat generators (solar thermal, biomass, heat pump) to oil condensing heating is subsidised by the state (www.bafa.de).

The Roth Füllflex filling hose may be used as a filling element for heating oil consumer systems thanks to its general building authority approval (AbZ Z-40.7-533). With its length of 680 mm, it can optimally compensate for the differences in height caused by the filling of heating oil tanks.
According to the technical rules for oil installations (TRÖl), the filling line of the heating oil tank system to be installed on site must be designed with a horizontal Z-bend (relief bend). The use of the Roth Füllflex filling hose ensures quick and easy implementation and saves the time-consuming installation of a Z-bend.
Füllstar - a system for row, block and angle installation
Roth DWT plus 3 750/1000/1500 l
Roth KWT 750/1000 l-C
Roth KWT 1000/1500 l-R
No tools other than your hands are needed to install the few parts of the Roth Füllstar (General Building Inspectorate Approval (AbZ) Z-40.7-487). The Füllstar pipe can be quickly plugged together and securely tightened with the factory-preassembled union nuts with seal and thrust collar.
The high-quality plastic material (PE-HD) reliably guarantees long-lasting safety. Precise injection nozzles ensure that the tanks are filled evenly.
The Roth Füllstar significantly reduces the already short installation times of Roth heating oil tanks.
Even the standard equipment is approved for heating oil with biogenic components ≤15.9 % (heating oil EL A Bio 5 to 15 according to DIN SPEC 51603-6).
High-quality materials guarantee reliability and long service life against the most common biogenic fuels of the future.
The Roth Füllstar filling system is supplied as standard for the DWT and KWT tank types with the single-line system, non-communicating and the F-Stop GWG-FSS overfill safety system!
Roth overfill safety system, type F-Stop GWG-FSS, for maximum safety against overfilling, for tank systems up to 11 tanks *
With the F-Stop GWG-FSS overfill safety system from Roth integrated as standard, level limiters (level sensors) FSS are installed in addition to the limit value transmitter (GWG) in the 1st tank also in the further following tanks of a tank system. GWG and FSS are electrically connected as a safety chain. This system meets the highest safety standards and provides effective protection against overfilling when refueling fuel oil storage systems.
The "basic kit" is included in each basic unit (GS or G) and serves as a connection to the limit switch of the first tank. For each further/subsequent tank of a tank system, an "extension kit" is required, which is included in the extension series (RS or R) or the extension block (BS or B). The basic kit and the extension kits are interconnected via a bus cable. An end plug, which is supplied with the "basic kit", terminates the safety chain at the extension kit of the last tank of a tank system.
