The Roth Touchline PL wireless control system is used for individual room control in buildings with radiant heating. The system consists of a radio connection module with 8 channels, as well as wirelessly connected radio room control units and optional radio floor temperature sensors.
The wireless connection module has a display and a control panel and enables the room control units to be connected. It provides an overview of the installed room control units with the associated temperatures. The signal strength can be easily read for each room control unit, which simplifies positioning. The thermostats are available as a wireless room operating unit with a small display for temperature indication and sensor keys, and as a wireless floor temperature sensor for monitoring the min./max. floor temperature, which is set via the control panel on the wireless connection module.
The radio room control unit has a smooth and easy-to-clean surface with a small display and sensor keys for simple temperature settings. It is possible to temporarily overwrite the comfort temperature entered - after which the temperature resets to the previous setting. A key lock is also possible.
The radio floor temperature sensor is equipped with a white, easy-to-clean surface. The setting is made via the control panel of the wireless connection module. The wireless floor temperature sensor is always used in conjunction with the wireless room control unit as protection against overtemperature on a wooden floor or to ensure a comfort floor temperature, e.g. in the bathroom.
Control technology
The radio connection module is available with 8 channels. It has a potential-free relay for controlling the energy generator, as well as an output for a pump with 230 V voltage. The following information per channel can be read on the control panel:
The control panel also provides access to the basic system settings, and with a code, to the advanced settings.
