Roth is one of the best-performing medium-sized companies in Hesse: in the current "Top Medium-Sized Companies" ranking by the magazine "Markt und Mittelstand", the family-run Roth companies take eighth place in Hesse. This also makes Roth the highest-ranked company from the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.
"We are delighted to receive this award, especially because factors such as commitment to sustainability, employer attractiveness and training are included in the assessment alongside traditional key figures," says Christin Roth-Jäger, CEO of Roth Industries. The family-run group of companies in the region also includes Roth Werke and Roth Services (Dautphetal- Buchau), Roth Plastic Technology (Dautphetal-Wolfgruben), Roth Hydraulics (Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen) and Roth Composite Machinery (Dautphetal, Steffenberg and Burgwald). Roth Industries comprises a total of 27 production and sales companies worldwide.
Scientifically based criteria
The "Top Medium-Sized Companies" ranking is based on a scientifically sound catalogue of criteria with 39 quantitative and qualitative evaluation factors. It is compiled as a benchmark by experts from DDW ("Die Deutsche Wirtschaft") in collaboration with the German Excellence Test. In addition to business performance indicators such as turnover, growth and number of employees, aspects such as innovative strength, sustainability, social responsibility, employer attractiveness, digital visibility and transformability are also included in the evaluation.
Long-term thinking is rewarded
