One brand, many strengths

Safety and disaster management take centre stage during the minister’s visit

What solutions and options do local companies offer in an emergency? Hesse’s Minister for the Interior, Roman Poseck, and Member of the State Parliament Marie-Sophie Künkel visited Roth Industries at its headquarters in Buchenau to learn about current developments and challenges. The visit focused in particular on the group’s technological expertise in the fields of civil protection, disaster management and public safety, as well as security applications.

During a company presentation and a tour of the exhibition, guests were given an insight into Roth’s wide range of system solutions, innovative applications and specialist engineering. “The Roth companies make a significant contribution to equipping emergency services and public institutions with reliable, high-performance technology for a wide variety of scenarios,” said managing partner Christin Roth-Jäger, referring, among other things, to products and systems from Roth Werke in Buchenau, the specialist machine manufacturer Roth Hydraulics based in Eckelshausen, and Roth Composite Machinery from Niedereisenhausen.

During discussions with the shareholder family and the management teams of the participating Roth companies, the importance of technology-neutral approaches was emphasised. These enable the company to respond flexibly to new requirements and develop future-proof solutions for security-related tasks.

At the same time, Minister Poseck highlighted the role of Roth Industries as a strong group of companies and employer in the region: a large proportion of the workforce is based in the Hessian hinterland. The regional roots, and the associated creation and safeguarding of sustainable jobs and industrial value creation in Germany, are highly valuable: “It is great that this region is home to such strong companies with a long tradition.”
