Roth

One brand, many strengths

Roth’s pipework installation system is fully SHI-certified

Comprehensive sustainability evidence provides planning certainty and facilitates building certification.
Roth Werke has had its pipework installation system (RIS) fully certified in accordance with the criteria of the Sentinel Holding Institute (SHI). All components of the system therefore have the necessary sustainability and healthy living certifications. For specialist planners, architectural practices, the HVAC trade and investors, this means significantly simplified documentation for sustainable construction projects, as well as greater certainty in tenders and building certifications.

Roth Werke offers a fully certified pipe installation system, thereby making sustainable planning considerably easier. As part of the certification process, all components of the Roth Rohr- installation system were assessed for their emissions and absence of harmful substances according to transparent and verifiable criteria. The result confirms the system’s high standards of healthy living and sustainability.

Eligibility for funding

With the successful ‘QNG ready’ certification, the Roth pipe installation system also meets the requirements for construction projects implemented in accordance with the criteria of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG). The QNG is an essential prerequisite for claiming funding under the Federal Funding Scheme for Efficient Buildings (BEG). In addition to the overall system, the Roth Alu-Laserplus system pipe, the Roth plastic fittings with PressCheck and the Roth brass fittings with PressCheck have also been awarded the ‘QNG ready’ designation as individual products.

Sustainability documentation centrally bundled

In addition, SHI product passports are available for all components. These bring together all relevant information for common building certification schemes such as DGNB, QNG, BNB, BREEAM or the EU Taxonomy, thereby simplifying documentation during the planning and certification process. Centralised data management eliminates the need for time-consuming individual searches, whilst ensuring that the verified product data is always up to date. Through the link to the DGNB Navigator, planners can also access the stored sustainability information directly.

Added value for planners

“With the full SHI certification of our pipework installation system, we offer our partners genuine added value,” says Rüdiger Heinz, Sales Manager for Energy Systems at Roth Werke. “Not only do they receive a technically mature system for hygienic drinking water and heating water installations, but also a robust foundation for sustainable construction and a significantly simplified process for providing evidence during building certification.” This creates additional value for planners and installers – from the tendering process through to eligibility for funding and successful building certification. Rüdiger Heinz sums it up: “In future, planners will find it much easier to demonstrate the sustainability of buildings and secure funding with our RIS.”
