One brand, many strengths

Roth donates rainwater storage tank for Lions Club Advent calendar campaign

Buchenau-based Roth Werke once again took part in the Biedenkopf Lions Club's 2024 Advent Calendar campaign this winter. They donated a Roth Design rainwater storage tank from Roth Umwelttechnik in Bischofswerda. The winning calendar has already been submitted: Judith Weber from Eckelshausen has already collected the rainwater storage tank, which is as beautiful as it is functional.

Bodo Schröckert, Purchasing Manager at Roth, explained: "We are delighted to be able to do good in two ways again this year by taking part in the Lions Club's Advent calendar initiative. On the one hand, the winners of our rainwater tank are delighted and, on the other, the campaign supports projects and organisations for children in the Marburg-Biedenkopf region. They will benefit from the proceeds from the sale of the calendar."

Judith Weber, who collected the design rainwater tank from the Manfred Roth Atrium in Buchenau, was delighted with her win: "I received the calendar as a gift from my boss at and this is the first time I've won something - great!"

The Lions Club sold almost 6000 Advent calendars this winter at a price of 5 euros each. Hidden behind the doors of the Advent calendar were non-cash prizes and vouchers donated by regional companies for a good cause. More than 100 prizes worth several thousand euros were collected.
