One brand, many strengths

Intermezzo appassionato of the Eckelshausen Music Days in the Manfred Roth Atrium

On 20 and 21 May 2023, three concerts will take place as part of the Eckelshausen Music Days in the atrium of the Roth Werke.

The two-day festival will begin with the festive opening concert for Lars Vogt.

Schubert's C major String Quintet will be performed by the Lutoslawski Quartet and Julius Berger, violoncello. In addition, Lars Vogt's student Aaron Pilsan will play works from Bach's famous Well-Tempered Clavier. Between the two contributions is the awarding of the Annemarie Gottfried Prize "Sound" to Lars Vogt posthumously, laudation: Prof. Julius Berger.

On Sunday, visitors can expect a Beethoven marathon, performed in two concerts. Oliver Kern, piano and Chris Pichler as Beethoven's housekeeper will present a selection of Beethoven's piano sonatas.

Roth has supported this opportunity for musical encounters since 1998. The festival offers numerous highlights from 20 to 21 May 2023. Further information is available at www.eckelshausener-musiktage.de.
