With its new Smart system solution, Roth Umwelttechnik offers innovative options for the efficient, convenient and sustainable use of rainwater. These smart systems allow for easy monitoring and control via the web and an app. In doing so, they make an active contribution to resource conservation: both in private home construction and in the garden.
Intelligent system components for flexible applications
At the heart of the Roth Smart solution is the Smart control unit with a level sensor, which enables transparent monitoring of the available rainwater volume at any time. The system is complemented by further intelligent components such as Smart filter monitoring and Smart drinking water top-up, which further enhance operational reliability and convenience. The Roth Smart System is compatible with all tank variants from the Roth rainwater range. Thanks to its modular design, it is also ideal for retrofitting existing rainwater systems and can be integrated into existing systems with minimal effort. The proven Roth Twinbloc flat tank, which is characterised by high stability, simple installation and flexible expandability, can be used as a storage system, amongst others.
Three coordinated packages for different requirements
Based on the Smart System components, Roth offers three coordinated packages for different applications:
The “Smart Start” package provides an entry point into rainwater harvesting. It comprises an ECO filter and the Smart control unit, including a level sensor, and enables the efficient use of rainwater in everyday life.
The “Smart Garden” package is designed specifically for garden irrigation. With a filter basket, Smart control unit, filter monitoring, a powerful submersible pump and a practical connection set, the system ensures reliable and convenient irrigation of lawns, flower beds and plants.
The “Smart Complete” package is the comprehensive solution for home and garden water supply. In addition to an ECO filter and smart control unit, it includes filter monitoring, automatic drinking water top-up, a floating tap and a powerful pump – available as either a domestic waterworks unit or a submersible pump.
Sustainability meets convenience
With Roth Smart solutions, drinking water consumption can be significantly reduced without compromising on convenience. The systems are modular in design, future-proof and expandable, and built to last. “An important step towards sustainable construction and responsible water use,” emphasises Dr Anne-Kathrin Roth, a member of the Roth Werke management team responsible for the Sanitary and Environmental Systems divisions.
