The plus 3 double-wall tank for maximum safety and living quality
The DWT plus 3 is tightly sealed using Roth's Steel-meltpress process. A leakage probe allows safety monitoring of the space between the tanks. The leakage-monitored metal shell makes the DWT plus 3 truly double-walled all around. The PE inner tank and the steel outer tank, which is tightly sealed all around, are tightly and firmly connected in the area of the tank nozzles. The TÜV has confirmed the DWT plus 3 quality based on the Steel-meltpress-process. The unique DWT plus 3 quality features stand for highest safety and living quality:
- Fire-proof
Successfully passed 90-minute fire test at the Materialprüfanstalt, Dortmund due to steel encapsulation. Therefore, the Roth DWT plus 3 grants a 3-fold safety time compared to pure plastic tanks.
- Impermeable to light and diffusion-tight
Due to its material properties, only steel guarantees absolute light impermeability and diffusion tightness and is therefore particularly suitable for the storage of standard heating oils as well as heating oils with biogenic components.
- Flood-proof
The solid steel construction of the Roth DWT plus 3 with its stable steel outer tank that is tightly sealed all around ensures safe use even in flood-prone areas (depending on the flood height).

Roth DWT plus 3 fit for tomorrow
Roth is meeting the requirements of the future use of renewable raw materials for heating purposes. Biogenic liquids are a natural product and have a significantly lower storage stability compared to mineral heating oil, which is particularly influenced by light, temperature and air exchange. The Roth DWT plus 3 is particularly suitable for storing heating oil with biogenic components due to its opaque and diffusion-tight outer shell.
Roth offers the tried-and-tested plastic filling system Füllstar for this purpose, which can already be used in its standard version (from 2012) for:
- Heating oil according to DIN SPEC 51603-6 EL A Bio 5 to 15 with a maximum bio content of 15.9 % with the addition of FAME according to DIN EN 14214
