They are made of high-density polyethylene. The connection of several tanks is possible with connection sets. The Twinbloc is earth-stable and can be driven over by cars. Container shapes with two cylinders with smaller diameters are more stable and resistant than a chamber with a large diameter. Thanks to the flat design, a tank like the Twinbloc requires around 40 percent less excavation when installed in the ground. Another advantage of the container shape is its stability: the plastic used has high impact resistance, mechanical strength and smooth inner walls. The material is impermeable to light, which prevents the formation of algae. Roth gives a 20-year guarantee on the containers for underground installation and for above-ground installation (excluding accessories).

The tank is equipped with a manhole with walk-on plastic cover and an integrated filter basket. The filter must be cleaned regularly: No problem thanks to its simple click fastening. A submersible pressure pump with integrated pressure switch transports the rainwater out of the tank. The precious water can be removed via a small ground shaft, which can be placed anywhere on the property. A connection with a tap for commercially available hose connection systems is integrated in the floor shaft.
