One brand, many strengths

Minister of Education Lorz discusses dual vocational training in Buchenau

Panel discussion "Forum Wirtschaft & Wissenschaft" on 4 October at the Roth company. How can young people be encouraged to start their careers in the region? How can school leavers be convinced of the wide range of vocational and academic training programmes offered by local companies? These questions will be addressed at the panel discussion "Hessian Minister of Education in Dialogue - Dual Training" on Wednesday, 4 October in the atrium of the Roth company in Buchenau.

"We need young people who have a desire for the future, to shape things, to get stuck in and get involved," says Anne-Kathrin Roth, Managing Partner at Roth Industries, which is organising the panel discussion as part of the "Forum Wirtschaft & Wissenschaft" series of events. Alongside the Hessian Minister of Education Alexander Lorz, Marie-Sophie Künkel (CDU state parliament candidate in constituency 12), Dietmar Persch (Managing Director of the Lahn-Dill Chamber of Industry and Commerce), Michael Donges (Head of Human Resources at Roth Industries GmbH & Co. KG) and Frank Interthal (Managing Director of the Biedenkopf District Craftsmen's Association) will discuss the challenges of demographic change and migration trends, company loyalty, the strengths of local companies as training organisations and the question of how these could be better communicated in careers guidance.

The evening will be moderated by Gerd Manthei (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen). The panel discussion will begin on Wednesday, 4 October at 7 pm in the atrium of the Roth company in Buchenau (Am Seerain 2). For organisational reasons, registration is required by 22 September via the website
